Floor Safes

(27 products)

A floor safe is one of the hardest safes for a burglar to beat, because they can't take what they can't find. Set into the concrete of a floor or slab, an in-floor safe stays concealed under carpet, tiles or a rug, and its body is protected by the surrounding concrete.

Floor safes are ideal for cash, jewellery, watches and important documents. For high-value contents, choose a torch-and-drill-resistant (TDR) model — we stock in-floor safes from CMI (including TDR models), Guardall and Dominator.

Choosing a floor safe

  • Plan the install — in-floor safes are set into concrete, so professional installation (core-drill or during a pour) is recommended.
  • For high-value items, choose a torch-and-drill-resistant (TDR) rated model.
  • Consider door size and depth for what you'll store, and the lock type (key, combination or digital).
  • Site it under a rug, tiles or carpet where it stays out of sight.

Frequently asked questions

What is a floor safe?
A floor safe is installed into the floor or concrete slab so it sits flush and hidden. Because it's concealed and encased in concrete, it's very difficult for a thief to locate or remove.

Are floor safes torch and drill resistant?
Some are. Models such as the CMI TDR and Guardall TDR in-floor safes carry a torch-and-drill-resistant rating for high-value storage — check the individual product for its rating.

Can a floor safe be installed in an existing concrete slab?
Yes. It can be core-drilled into an existing slab or set during a new pour. Because it's a concrete installation, we recommend using a professional.

What should I store in a floor safe?
Floor safes suit cash, jewellery, watches and important documents — compact, high-value items you want kept completely out of sight.
